We are developing our QA team as we designed QA for product evaluation and process monitoring. We assure that the product development and associated processes are correctly carried out as per the process plan. We are successfully able to deliver the quality of the product as we ensure that the products are tested with the measurement of quality. QA is the growing area in the today’s market trend as we see the thousands of applications every day on the mobile or in internet, everybody wants a quality of the application and without quality, things might be improper. So, our QA team successfully deliver the quality of the product for what all we expect.
We started with Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) where testing can be started from the requirement gathering phase and continued till the deployment of the software and it’s depend on the development model that is being used. As we start a testing from the beginning of the requirement gathering phase and continue till the deployment.
In SDLC phase, the analysis of requirements and the verification of requirements are also considered as testing. Reviewing the design in the design phase with the intent to improve the design is also considered as testing. Testing performed by the developer on completion of the code is categorized as testing, so called Unit Testing. In every phase of SDLC, the testing is conducted. SDLC phase depicts in the image.
As a testing team we follow software testing life cycle (STLC). In STLC, the testing process which has specific steps to be executed in a definite sequence to ensure that the quality goals have been met. In STLC process, each activity is carried out in a planned and systematic way. Each phase has different goals and deliverables. For all levels, entry and exit criteria will be define and that’s we follow. RTM is the approach where we tracing the requirements and the testing process (Requirement Tracing Matrix).
We follow the testing types and the methods,
We follow the approach of agile methodology and the test module called V-Model. In agile methodology, we do development as per the agile development process and we do testing as per agile testing process. Agile methodology is an iterative development methodology where requirements evolve through collaboration between the customer and the self-organizing teams which aligns development with customer needs. Its save times and cost. Regular feedback from the end user and daily meetings to the clients over the network. Also we follow V-model approach as per testing module concern. In V-model, encourages testing preparation to occur in parallel with requirements, design, and development phases and this ideology may be the only similarity between the V-Model and agile forms of testing. We follow the testing types as manual testing and we will follow the automation testing processes later on. In manual testing, we do testing the software manually by reporting the bugs or defects/error/faults in the application. We conduct unit testing by the development team and integration testing/system testing/acceptance testing by the QA or testing team. We strictly follow the testing methods as black-box testing and white-box testing. In general we follow black box testing methods where user can’t know the source code of the application and see the application by the outside. We follow the testing levels such as Functional and Non-Functional testing, where as in functional testing we follow SIT testing, alpha testing and beta testing. As per non-functional testing, we follow performance testing, load testing, Stress testing, Security testing and Usability testing, also User-Interface Testing.
We do the mobile application testing for both the platform like iOS and Android. In android, we test the native and hybrid application of the mobile. We mainly do the game testing and we makes a lot of games and most are available in play or app store. We also do the web application and windows application testing as per the requirements. We also testing the website of any components or contents. We write the SRS (Software Requirement Specification), BRS (Business Requirement Specification) for the any application or website. We also write the Test Plan, Test Case and the Test Scenario for the application in a suitable way. We follow the Traceability Matrix for SDLC and STLC.
Our testing team reporting the bug or defects in the project management tools like Atlassian JIRA. Where our all employees tracking of the defects and projects as per the requirements. Using JIRA, we follow the defect life cycle of the software testing process. We have successfully delivered the lots of testing task by following the Defect or Bug Life Cycle.
